PaNRAID Formation

It was a pleasure to attend the PaNRAID (Photons and Neutrons Realistic Artificial Intelligence Dataset) Formation 2026 in Saint-Pierre d’Oléron, organised by the DIADEM Academy. The training focused on generating realistic simulated experimental data by combining materials modelling with virtual beamline simulations using McStas and McXtrace. A primary highlight was training and applying machine learning models on these physics-based simulated datasets.
